As a child I loved to sing and write poems. I started my first singing group at 8 years old with my parents’ friends’ kids - The Apple Turnovers. It still makes me laugh thinking about it. Choir was my favorite class in school. I dabbled with the guitar in 8th grade, then moved it around through high school and college without ever really playing it. I took piano lessons in my 30’s and 40’s then picked up the guitar at 53 and started playing and writing songs. It has connected me to family, friends, and strangers in ways I could never have imagined.

It’s NEVER too late.
